Your Alternative Fuels Choices

Are alternative fuels in your future? A lot of attention has come up recently in regards to alternative fuels. With the price of gas at all time highs and showing no signs of dropping people all across the globe have begun to look into the option of alternative fuels.

A part of the alternative fuel game is hybrid cars. These cars are not a newcomer to the game, just one that has not been completely feasible in the past, but the times have changed and so too has our required reliance on gasoline.

So what types of alternative fuels are there?

Well one type is the electrical hybrid. These vehicle can only be run for short periods of time and require frequent charging, but for short term city use they can greatly cut down on your needs of gas.  They just really aren't an option for those who like those hour long rides out into the country side. So what else is there?

Solar Power

Well there are solar powered vehicles. These too are quite limited as currently there are none that are truly capable of running on solar power alone. The technology is rather limited and they have yet to create the solar hybrid vehicle that would allow you to run your vehicle on back up solar energy during the night or on cloudy days.

There is another hybrid vehicle option. This one uses a battery backup source that is constantly charged as you drive. It is much like a conventional vehicle and for the most part provides all the speed and distance that regular gas guzzlers provide.

Water Hybrid

A cheaper alternative is the water hybrid. With the purchase of a water hybrid conversion kit you can decrease your reliance on gas by up to 40%, at least that is what's claimed by the kit makers.  This leaves more money in your pocket and less smog in the air. Plus you don't need a new vehicle, you can use the one you currently own which makes it an attractive alternative.

Water 4 Gas is the top selling installation guide for the HHO conversion. It is really more of an installation manual than a guide.

Hybrid car water for gasThe owner claims to have almost 13,000 people using his manual to complete their conversions.

The author is a man named Ozzie Freedom, and yes, that is his real name. he personally doubled his MPG in his personal auto, and has now went on to teach others his conversion process.

He has been a long term environmentalist and has always a had special interest in hybrid vehicles.

We found that this guide presented more informational detail than any other guide we have reviewed, and we have reviewed most of them.

The installation instructions are full of diagrams and pictures along each step. This makes for a very easy to follow installation process. The package contains two books.

One of them explains the technology behind the HHO concept and then lays out the instructions for the actual installation. The second books contains several tips that you can initiate to increase your gas mileage even further.

Also discussed are the possible tax savings that you may qualify for if you make this conversion. The IRS documentation is provided to you as a free bonus. The tax savings alone have the potential to pay for the purchase of this guide and your conversion.

The guide also contains all the technical knowledge that you could possible want. It is a very in depth presentation of the HHO concept and conversion.

You will need about $150 in parts and an afternoon to complete the conversion. In our opinion this is the holy grail of HHO alternative fuel installation guides. The small investment of your time and money should pay you dividends of savings for a very long time.

This guide is among the most expensive, but if you are looking for the all around knowledge of HHO conversions and installations, this is the book to own.

Vegetable Oil

There is great news for diesel drivers as well. You too can chose an alternative fuel. Diesel engines can  be converted to run on vegetable oil. Can you imagine filling up at your local restaurant instead of the pumping station!

No matter the vehicle you currently own or your budget, hybrids are within your reach. You can use alternative fuels to save yourself money on gas. After all, what is better then plugging your car in, or filling it with cooking oil or regular tap water when it comes to saving money on gas.
