Hybrids Cost Big Bucks?

Do you think Hybrid carss are too expensive to purchase?   Think about it, although the initial outlay can be expensive (what car isn't?) hybrids quickly make up for their cost in the money you save on fuel.  With the way the gas prices are going, your hybrid vehicle will become more and more of a bargain to own.

How about this?  It has been announced that you will soon be able to purchase kits to convert your car into an electrical hybrid.  You could save a bundle that way.

Or how about this, if money is really tight and you are ready to convert right now you can consider a water conversion kit to streatch your MPG. No excessive cost here - only about $150 to purchase the instruction book and all required parts.

Plug-In Required?

Another common myth is that all hybrids need to be plugged in. Well this is true of the original electrical hybrid vehicles.  Now there are electrical hybrids that have a battery on board that is charged as you drive. So you are still gaining the advantage of saving on the cost of gas, without the problem of having to plug your car into an electrical outlet every few hours.

The good news is that research is still on going to create an even better version of this tecnology, which would combine the best of both worlds. A electrical hybrid that would run on the plug in power for the first part of the trip and then switch over to the charged battery power for the rest.

Imagine only having to fill your gas tank once or twice a month just to provide the power to get your car started!

There are many advantages to hybrid cars, and as technology advances, so will the advantages. If you are looking for a great fuel efficient, environmentally friendly vehicle, the hybrid can be the one for you.
